Your first physical therapy visit to Pinion Rehabilitation will start with a full evaluation of your injury or condition and diagnosis. Your physical therapist will discuss treatment options with you and a course of action necessary to recover and return to full activity.
You will also have your first physical therapy treatment at this time, so be sure to wear loose-fitting comfortable clothing.
Bring with you a full list of any prescription medicines you are taking on your doctor’s advice, as well as any over-the-counter medicines you take regularly.
If you normally wear glasses or corrective lenses or a hearing aid, please ensure they are in place for your first visit. It is vitally important that you can communicate fully with your physical therapist.
At this first visit as well, you will likely receive a series of exercises to be continued at home until the time of your next visit.
